good times from summer ball.
STORY TIME.
so i was at third (my position), and i had a grounder hit to me. no big deal, i field it cleanly and rocket it to first, looking the runner on second back first. low and behold, the first baseman drops my perfect throw after it was already in her glove. it literally went into her glove and fell out.
obviously the girl at second is a smart base runner, so she starts heading to third. the first baseman scrambles and chucks the ball to me randomly. i had to dive towards home to get the ball, then dive back to the runner to make the tag. luckily, i made the out, and i got the mvp award.
